George Michael - Fastlove
"Fastlove" was a song written and performed by George Michael which was released by Virgin Records in the UK and Dreamworks Records in the US in 1996.
The song was the second of six singles to be taken from George's comeback album Older, which was his first studio album in six years and only the third of his solo career, even though Wham! had been split for a whole decade. "Fastlove" was an energetic tune about the need for gratification and fulfilment without a worry regarding commitment, a theme George had touched upon in a similar but more sensual vein on his first album Faith.
In the absence of security
I made my way into the night
Stupid cupid keeps on calling me
(but) I see nothing in his eyes
I miss my baby..
