Testing the fastest car in the world by "Top Gear" driver "James May" - The Bugatti Veyron- it's top speed is 408Km/h .
When getting close to the top speed during the test he said that "the tyres will only last for about fifteen minutes, but it's OK because the fuel runs out in twelve minutes."

Excceding some speed -let's say reacing over 350 km/h- implies a serious risk of diyng against something placed between you and the horizont.

Exceeding 400 km/h should imply a very very serious risk of crashing against the horizont itself!

By the way, a Viper Venom 1000 Hennessay reaches the same max speed and gets to it in even less time -of course, surviving to the experience is not guaranteed-.
